This chocolate bar speciality reminds of the time, when tree trunks were brought to Munich by rafts on the river Isar. Before the trunks were unloaded on the shore the raftsmen threw some smaller trunks (“Prügel”) to the shore for the poor inhabitants of Munich.
They were always waiting for the raftsmen from Bad Tölz and appreciated these alms a lot.Our bar speciality “Tölzer Prügel” imitate theses trunks: outside rough, inside mild. You have the choice between five different flavours. This trademark “Tölzer Prügel” is protected.
